Reddit is a social news website where users can post links to content on the web. Other users may then vote the posted links up or down, causing them to appear more or less prominently on the reddit home page. The site has discussion areas where users may discuss the posted links, and vote for or against others' comments. When there are enough votes against a given comment, it will not be displayed by default, although a reader can display it through a link or preference. Users who submit articles which other users like and subsequently "vote up" receive "karma", points which a user receives as a reward for submitting interesting articles. reddit also includes several topical sections called subreddits, which focus on specific topics, including programming, science, and politics.

How to get Traffic from Reddit

In this post, I'm going to write some tips to get huge amount of traffic from Reddit..

Write Quality and Original Articles

The better our content is, the more chances that your post will be thumbed up and the more thumbs up you get, the more chance you have to be in the front page. Its quite simple, but for this, you'll have to write quality and original articles.

Choose a Particular Subreddit

To submit your post, you'll have to choose a particular Subreddit. The traffic that you get will also depend on the subreddit you choose.

For example, If you have a blog relating to Animation Wallpapers then, you can choose Anime Wallpaper subreddit and post your article there. So, choose the subreddit wisely and post your links there.

Choose a subreddit with less subscribers

I might be wrong in this point but, in my opinion, choosing a subreddit with less subscribers is good that choosing a subreddit with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. There, you can have more chances of people viewing your articles and liking them. So, choose a subreddit with less users. It'll be better for you if you're new in Reddit.

Tell your friends about it

Its really easy to sign up in Reddit. It takes less than 1 minute to sign up. So, tell you friends about it and ask them to sign up in reddit. And after they're done, give them link of your post in reddit and request to give a thumb up. This will give you visitors and also upthumbs and you'll have more chances of coming in top.

So, these are some tips to use reddit in better way and get lots of traffic in your blog. I'm writing this from my personal experience. My One Piece blog gets 500+ visitors everyday from Reddit alone and in less than 20 days of starting that blog, it has already got 12,000 visitors from reddit. Its turning great for me.
